A different question
Pagat describes a running pip count during play, with values capped at ten for face cards. It must not pass thirty-one. The later show counts combinations from the retained cards and starter instead.
Label the example
Before discussing a sequence, write down the running count, order of played cards, who acts and whether a reset has occurred. A photograph of the cards alone may omit exactly the information needed.
Tool boundaries
The hand calculator does not examine the order of played cards, Go or count resets. The manual scorebook accepts an award after players confirm it. Do not use the show total as an automatic pegging award.
